From an AP story:

Barbara Bush, who accompanied the former presidents on a tour of the Astrodome complex Monday, said the relocation to Houston is "working very well" for some of the poor people forced out of New Orleans.

"What I'm hearing, which is sort of scary, is they all want to stay in Texas. Everyone is so overwhelmed by the hospitality," she said during a radio interview with the American Public Media program "Marketplace." "And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this is working very well for them."

What's the matter, Martha!" Did someone say something bad about rich little Ms. Bush. She is so insensitive to the lives of the poor. How dare her suggest that this tragedy is working to their advantage.... Shame on her.

Um... no, Ms. Anonymous... that's not why I removed the post. I suppose you didn't want to take the time to read that post in the context of any other post.

The post I removed was spam.

I have since enabled a word verification system for those who wish to add comments. Sure would be nice if people thought before they accused, though.
