Thursday

Greetings to my three regular readers!

So much has happened since I've last updated this tired ol' blog. And, to be honest, it all feels a bit like water under the bridge. It felt urgent in the moment. In the moment, it was my inability to pee -- something that occurred to me after three days -- that sent me to the ER for catheterising (no big deal) and a few days of IV narcotics.

Here's the hard part, but I don't think there's any point in trying to string pretty words around the truth... or ugly words, either.

I'm now a hospice patient, and I've been given 5 days to 5 weeks to live. Technically, that "5 days" should have ticked down to "4 days". It's not an exact science.

My dear you have lurking readers as well~ Guy and I check it regularly. For some strange reason I think of comments to leave yet I never do. Its ridiculous that putting words out there in the cyber world can make me self conscious ( Will it sound to mushy? will it be as funny as I think it is or will it be.....on and on)
I cant help but feel that by reading your blog we have had a view into what is happening in your life. I have not, however reciprocated so you have never known. What a needless situation.
Our thoughts are with you often. Something this tragic always raises a million ~why's~ There is no damn answer to that question. Martha even though you tried to steal my man I love you. I am thankful for the adventures I have had with you and thank you for creating mischief with us even when I am sure you were in a great deal of pain physically and in your heart. Thank you for kindly letting me hang on you at fair. I tried to be gentle but I was in a snuggly mood and lets face it you are fun to snuggle. There is no better disco ball than you. Big bird pales in comparison to the Funky Chicken and the trailing nuggets. Will Roy ever settle down with a good woman in a trailer park on the edge of town? Why does he hate ginger snaps so?
Do we know where exactly the "groove thing" is found on the human anatomy? You posed this question the first night I met you. It is worth pondering. The LBKP will continue in your honor.
Mr an Mrs Price are a inspiring duo
they represent humor, adventure, understanding, and what it really means to be in love and show love. This description is not fluffy words for the sake of saying them as anyone who has spent time in their presence would know this is
truth. Martha I don't know if this is "pc" to say and a great deal of me wants to say only upbeat things. But to be painfully real the world will be much less without you.
Much much love to you and Eric

This is sad news Martha. I came accross your blog by accident a couple of years ago and check in often to see how you are. Your love for Eric and his for you is inspiring and touching. Safe travels

I found your blog just a few weeks ago, bookmarked it, and finally found it again. I am sorry to see that you are not doing well once again - I hope that someone will keep us updated if you don't feel like it.

Just so you know you have more than 3 readers and your posts have always been without fluff and about what's real to you. I like the honesty!
